I love your new daybed! We bought a new mattress for Griffin this weekend and I found this 1940's daybed frame in an antique store. It was in horrible shape. I spend 4 hours sanding it today (all SIX layers of paint) and I'm not even done with one side. There is an amazing wood underneath--maybe walnut--but I'm not sure. I'm not sure if I'm going to stain it or paint it yet. I'll keep you posted.
