These are from Laura Ashley and I love their selection....
I have never hung wall paper. But I have removed it many times and maybe this has soured me in the past from wall paper. That said, I have spent countless hours thinking want I can do to make my funky bathroom tiles feel 'the good kind of retro' and I have started to warm up to wall paper. I think it's especially nice in a small space like a bathroom, but I've seen great pics of rooms wallpapered too. What are you thinking for your bedroom? I love your clean white theme. Would you do white curtains and white bedding? And with the bathroom do you have any moisture/venting issues? I know that a steamy bathroom can ruin wallpaper in no time.
IN big news for us, my brilliant husband has figured a way to get us a 40 foot container and we only have to pay (under) 2k after TI pitches in their part. That's twice the size container and a grand cheaper. He read the fine print of his contract and used his negating skills. God bless him! I am so relieved. I will still sort & purge, but not stress about it.
In totally different news, we've instituted the 'Consequence Jar' at our house. When kids disobey, they get to select a consequence. The jar is filled with slips of paper with all the little chores mommy does and a few 'mercy cards' which mean they get mercy and no consequence. We had a rough morning getting everyone out the door so everyone landed a consequence. Today after school kids are doing the following jobs : clean toilets, wash back door window, wipe down lower kitchen cabinets.
I love the consequence jar because it gets me out of having to yell which by the time I am yelling I am a wreck anyway. Tomorrow this may not work for us, but today it is and I am relishing looking out my clean window as I type. ; )
Love to you!!
