I reworked my office/sitting area adjacent to my bedroom to look like this. It is a lot more color than I am used to, but overall, I like it.This week is spring break for us. Andrew was supposed to be off, but you know how that goes. So now instead of leaving, me and the kids are going to take day trips to some local spots. It works out a little better, since Andrew will start his vacation week on Thursday, and I will have him after the kids go back to school. I am planning to put him to work painting and planting.
I am picking out colors for my bath, back bedroom, and hall. I'll do another post of the colors I pick.

I love the new office/sitting space. And I love the color. : ) I think your Oriental rugs are fab in any space.
I am so so tired and it's 6:51! We had a great time but drove all day yesterday and today I've cleaned and done laundry and am begging my girls to go to bed with no hassles. Will write more tomorrow. I got the heron painting and just love it.
